The
Club has evolved, changed and developed over the last few years.
Currently we have fourteen teams playing over eight age groups, we have
a great relationship with the Senior Football Club, Parish Council and
key sponsors. We are looking to build for the future and plan to work
to achieve the building of a new all weather-playing surface alongside at one of our venues.
We
believe that football promotes a healthy lifestyle and provides young
people with a sporting focus in their lives. We also believe it
provides a sense of belonging and community feeling with the
appropriate benefits to the local environment.
We
continually work with our links to the professional and
semi-professional football clubs, County Associations and
Representative teams in our area. Key to this is improving the standard
and quality of coaching within the Club. To these ends twenty two of
our managers and coaches have taken the initial Football Association
coaching qualification with others in the process of taking the
advanced qualifications.
Our three key values are
Hard Work Technical Ability Fair Play
Hard
work is the primary goal of all footballers off and on the pitch. By
setting goals and objectives and working hard we strive to improve the
ability of all our players and coaches.
Technical
ability describes how we do not discriminate by a player’s
capability. All players regardless of ability are encouraged to learn
the basic skills of the game. If a player has the talent it is our aim
to help them play at the highest level in football. If the player just
enjoys the fun of the game then we aim to develop technical proficiency
for fulfilment.
Fair
play is the key to understanding the game. Respect for the opposition,
your teammates, coaches and yourself are all of primary importance to a
players development and enjoyment.
We
also believe in the ethic of teamwork and togetherness. Footballs
greatest achievements take place when people work together for a common
goal; a group working cohesively will always do better than the
individual. We want our players to experience and understand that for
the collective benefit of their teams.
We
also believe that by parents, players and coaches working together
children can derive the maximum enjoyment from the game. We seek the
union of all parents, players and coaches working as a trinity in the
hope that both individuals and the Club move forward and develop as a
whole.
Hopefully
we can work together to achieve these aims and help The Bluntisham
Rangers Junior Football Club become a centre for the development of
community football.
Here’s to the Beautiful Game.
